Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez (born Sara Ramirez) is an Mexican American musician and popular actress. As a child, Sara was racially taunted by many people in America. It was during her ninth grade when she began to gain confidence after receiving a rousing ovation in an audition. It not only boosted her confidence, but it was also a change in the direction of her professional career. She graduated from New York's Julliard School at the age of 22. In the year 23 she made her debut on Broadway in Paul Simon's The Capeman and in films with You've Got Mail. Her biggest break came with her role as The Lady of The Lake in the original Broadway production of Spamalot. The show won her the Tony Award and received great reviews for her role. In the year following, she joined the ABC series Grey's Anatomy as Dr. Callie Torres and gained wider appreciation for her performance. Apart from being a popular singer, she also released her own solo album and a longer piece. She has also spoken out in support of LGBT issues.
