Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise, an American actress and writer popular for her portrayal of Ginger Grant on the television show Gilligan's Island during the 1960s. Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first production she acted in for her first stage appearance. Thereafter she acted in numerous Broadway productions before making it big on the national theatre space with Li'l Abner' in the year 1957. Within the same calendar year she debuted her debut music album called It's Tina Time. Louise began her Hollywood career in the year 1958 when she played Griselda Walden in God's Little Acre a dramatic film. It was an enormous success and Louise received the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. During this time she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her teacher. Another notable character she played in the role of Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her with in 1964. Louise maintained a successful career that combines Broadway television and Hollywood and portraying somber rather than the glamorous image that she received. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. In SG-1 and Sanctuary but she also made a mark as an effective television director in numerous series, including Supernatural & The 100. Her family relocated to Essex to Toronto, where she spent her childhood and teenage years. In 1997 after being selected for the role of Samantha Carter she settled down in Vancouver and has been living in Vancouver ever since.
