Lisa Olivia Munn was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kimberly Schmid lived in Vietnam with Chinese origins, and Winston Barrett Munn's family is roots that go back to the American South. Olivia's parents divorced at age two. She grew up with her mother, who served with the United States Air Force, as well as her stepfather. Although the family was spread all over, her main residence was Tokyo, Japan. In the years that followed she was a part of several local theatre productions, and then began modeling for the Japanese fashion business. Olivia was a model who been living with her parents in Los Angeles in order to fulfil her dream to be an actor was determined to pursue that goal even after her family moved back to the United States. Through a string of small roles, Olivia found success when she got the role as Mily Acua in the Hawaii television show Beyond the Break 2006 and as the receptionist of Rob Schneider. She is the host of G4's podcasts "The Daily Nut" along with "Formula D". Her passion for surfing has been evident after the TV series Beyond the Break. She also holds Black Belt in Taekwondo. At the age of two, her mother married again however this time to a US Air Force member. While the family moved several times, she was primarily raised in Tokyo, Japan, where her stepfather's military was stationed. The university she attended was at the University of Oklahoma where she was a journalism major with minors of Japanese and dramatic art.
